Giuliana Rancic and her husband Bill will soon have a baby by gestational substitute, according to reports. Rancic recently underwent a double mastectomy after last year was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Rancic, 37, was first warned of the cancer by a mammogram during his third attempt at in vitro fertilization. She and her husband had been showing their attempts to conceive in her reality show, “Giuliana and Bill”.

“He had not undergone in vitro fertilization, not had this fight, never would have discovered had breast cancer,” said Rancic on “The View” (23 April), HollywoodLife.com reported today. “She had gotten pregnant easily and naturally, it would actually have accelerated cancer”.

Earlier this month, Rancic said today that she and her husband were looking for other options to have a baby after his diagnosis of cancer.

“We want absolutely a child.” So, with the medications that I’m pregnant I start … probably it won’t happen anytime soon, “said today, reported Entertainment Huffington Post.”

Pregnancy can be dangerous for some women after they have breast cancer, although each case is different, the American Cancer Society reported. Many times, capacity and security to get pregnant once cancer has to do with the treatment the woman is receiving or has received.
