Washington: In an unprecedented move, the California State Assembly has approved a resolution recognizing India’s Independence Day on August 15, and urged all Californians to celebrate the diversity of cultures.

Bob Wieckowski, Bay Area assmebly – popular member, moved a resolution in support of a number of other members.
